Carolyn loves to write and tell stories. She’s spent 20+ years working as a marketing and event planning professional and owns her own marketing company: Carefree Communication. In 2023, she and her husband Dr. Matt founded Hard Luck Animal Welfare Advocates to manage the medical and rescue services at the Stockton Animal Shelter. She loves telling the stories of the animals at the shelter to help them find homes.
When she’s not writing, Carolyn loves to crochet, knit, and sew, as well as go on runs and hikes and spend as much time as possible outdoors. She lives nearby with her husband Matt, daughter, 1 ancient cockatiel, and 4 scruffy pups.
